I’ll be showing you how to build a content goldmine in this guide. Since I don’t know you or your skillset, I’ll outline what you need to know and how quickly you can start. This is assuming you’re not starting from day one.
Just so you know, this is the shortest post I’ve created and the longest. 😊 Since I will reference several other posts, the total reading time will likely be a few hours.
After you’ve got everything you need, just get started. It does not need to be perfect. You can edit, re-write or begin again. Just because you write a post or make a video doesn’t mean you have to post it, although I do hope you know your business well enough to have enough value and confidence to share your efforts.
The secret when you build a content goldmine is less about everything being 100% right and more about putting value out to your audience quickly and consistently improving over time.
Understanding Content Marketing and Its Role
The main reason to build a content goldmine is to position yourself as an expert and provide value to your perfect prospects.
You must have an authoritative website and a large digital footprint to position yourself effectively as an expert.
Once your online footprint is large enough and provides enough value, you will have enough visitors to your website and content to start seeing more leads that can be nurtured into prospects and clients.
If the concept of a content goldmine is entirely new to you, I’d suggest starting with these 2 posts.
The Power of High-Quality Content
Understanding what people need is the best way you can create what they want.
Applying this to your content goldmine will make you more easily engage with your prospects and build rapport through your experience, values, and stories.
Your content goldmine isn’t just a series of blog posts or videos. It’s all your online presence working together to ensure that people who need your help can find you when they start looking.
I discuss that in much more detail in this post.
THE 5 MUST-HAVE CONTENT TYPES TO BUILD YOUR PROPERTY CONTENT GOLDMINE
Local Flavour and Unique Quirks
When you start creating your content, there are a few things you need to know.
One of them is search engine optimisation (SEO). Before you start running for the hills, I’m not suggesting that you become an expert in all things SEO. However, it would help if you had a basic understanding of SEO and its workings. Because you’ll be relying on Google to send visitors to your website, you need to help them understand what your website and content are all about. You have to help them so they can help you.
One of the best things about SEO is that it works exceptionally well for local businesses.
I’ve created a couple of posts on SEO you can use to better understand why it exists and how to use it to your advantage, especially if you have a local business and only want local clients.
I also have another guide you can check out called the Property Leads Accelerator SEO Checklist. This is a list of the various SEO terms with a short description of what it does. Use it as a reminder to ensure you’ve checked them all.
The Content Goldmine Blueprint
Essentially, your content goldmine is a digital representation of you.
You will pour all of your knowledge, experience, beliefs, values and stories into your content.
This will make the content uniquely yours and position you as the go-to expert in your area.
The complete blueprint to build a content goldmine is my Property Leads Accelerator coaching program. It is now also available in my book, Automated Property Leads Forever.
If you don’t want to spend the £6.95 on the book, no worries. I’ve got you covered.
I’ve created a post called THE SECRETS TO BUILDING A CONTENT GOLDMINE. Check it out.
Of course, I can’t fit over 300 pages of the book into a 13-minute read, but it will help you understand the essentials of building a content goldmine.
Strategies and Insights
You want more leads, prospects and sales. To do that more effectively, you’ll need to know who more people are earlier in the journey so you have more time to nurture and educate them.
This is not something you can easily do with paid ads. A content goldmine is a much more effective way to attract leads and nurture them to be clients.
I talk about that a bit more in this post.

The Booking Bonanza
It’s all very well having loads of leads, but if the lead quality is low, you’ll struggle to convert them into clients. Sometimes, a lead is low quality because they’re too early in their journey to become a client.
There are a few things you can do to help with this, and predictably, I talk about them in HOW TO CONVERT PROPERTY LEADS INTO PAYING CLIENTS.
